We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager- Trade Commodities to develop and manage sales of tree nuts and dry food/agro commodities through international trade agencies and distributors. The role focuses on expanding market presence, building strategic partnerships, and driving sales growth across regional and global markets.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in commodity trading, international distribution networks, and B2B sales, with Farsi language skills preferred to support key regional markets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies for tree nuts and commodity products through trade agencies and distributors.
- Identify and onboard new trade partners, importers, and distributors across target markets.
- Expand market penetration in Middle East, and international markets.
- Manage key accounts and maintain strong long-term business relationships.
Trade Agency Management
- Build and manage relationships with trade agencies, brokers, and commodity traders.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and supply agreements.
- Monitor partner performance and ensure alignment with company sales targets.
Market Intelligence
- Track global market trends, pricing, supply dynamics, and competitor activity in tree nuts and commodity markets.
- Provide strategic insights to senior management on new market opportunities.
Sales Operations
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Forecast demand and manage sales pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and documentation.
Client Engagement
- Represent the company at international trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Conduct regular meetings and negotiations with major clients and partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Agriculture, or related field.
- 58+ years of experience in B2B sales within agricultural commodities, tree nuts, or food trading.
- Proven experience working with trade agencies, distributors, and commodity traders.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Experience in international markets and export trade.
Preferred Qualifications
- Farsi language proficiency preferred.
- Existing network in Middle East regional commodity markets.
- Experience in tree nuts such as almonds, pistachios, walnuts, hazelnuts, etc.
- Knowledge of commodity pricing structures and global supply chains.
