Job Overview:

The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth, increase market penetration, and ensure customer satisfaction for the company's home and personal care product portfolio in KSA across traditional market. This role involves managing high-value accounts, establishing strategic partnerships, leading and inspiring a high-performing sales team, and ensuring compliance with the company's business standards and objectives. A deep understanding of the KSA market, international customer dynamics, and FMCG sales operations is essential to excel in this position. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing the company's growth and strengthening its market presence in a competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales and Market Leadership:

  • Market Strategy Development: Formulate and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's regional and global objectives.
  • Market Penetration: Identify untapped market segments and develop innovative approaches to establish the company's presence in those areas.
  • Competitive Positioning: Conduct in-depth competitor analysis and implement strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Sales Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop accurate forecasts, manage sales budgets, and ensure alignment with overall financial objectives.

Business Development & Distributor Management:

  • High-Value Deals: Lead negotiations and close high-value contracts with distributors, retailers, and key accounts.
  • Partnership Development: Establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in KSA, including government agencies, distributors, and trade bodies.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities through CRM systems and data-driven decision-making.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Act as the primary point of contact for top-tier clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and relationship management.

Operational Efficiency and Process Excellence:

  • Sales Operations Optimization: Develop and implement systems and processes that enhance the efficiency of sales operations.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to local laws, company policies, and ethical standards in all business dealings.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, finance, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Technology Enablement: Drive the adoption of CRM tools and analytics for data-driven decision-making.

Strategic Reporting and Insights:

  • Performance Analytics: Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Board-Level Reporting: Prepare and present sales reports, strategic updates, and market insights to senior management and the board of directors.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of market trends, customer preferences, and regulatory changes, providing actionable insights to the leadership team.

Brand Building and Market Representation:

  • Market Presence: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  • Thought Leadership: Act as a spokesperson for the company, positioning it as a leader in innovation and customer service.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Partner with marketing teams to design and execute targeted campaigns that align with sales goals.

Key Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Distributor management in FMCG industry is a MUST.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in traditional trade market across saudi is a MUST.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (both spoken and written).
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • High adaptability to local market dynamics and cultural nuances.
