Key Responsibilities:
• Proactively manage and develop an assigned portfolio of corporate accounts to achieve individual and hotel revenue targets.
• Identify, qualify and acquire new corporate accounts with strong potential for room nights, meetings and ancillary revenue.
• Develop and implement account plans to increase account penetration, market share and revenue contribution.
• Build and maintain long-term, value-based relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Conduct regular sales calls, site inspections, client entertainment and other business-development activities.
• Understand each client's business needs, travel patterns, production potential and decision-making process to provide the most suitable commercial solutions.
• Negotiate corporate agreements, rates and contracts in accordance with the hotel's pricing strategy and commercial guidelines.
• Manage corporate RFP opportunities and ensure accurate and timely submissions.
• Monitor account production, market trends, competitor activities and business performance, taking corrective action where required.
• Collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Reservations, Groups & Events and Marriott above-property sales teams to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Ensure confirmed business is communicated and handed over accurately and on time to the relevant operational departments.
• Maintain accurate and updated account, activity and opportunity information in the hotel's sales systems.
• Achieve the assigned revenue, sales activity, account acquisition and client-meeting targets.
• Represent Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi professionally in all client and industry interactions.
Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum two years of hotel sales experience in the UAE, preferably within a five-star international hotel.
• Previous experience as a Sales Manager or Assistant Sales Manager is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE corporate market; established connections within Abu Dhabi are highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify, negotiate and convert new business.
• Strong commercial awareness, communication, presentation and relationship-management skills.
• Fluent spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
• Self-motivated, target-driven and able to work independently while contributing effectively to the wider commercial team.
