Job Purpose:
Responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability targets. This role combines strategic planning, team leadership, and customer engagement to drive sales growth and strengthen the company's market position. The Sales Manager ensures effective execution of sales strategies, builds strong relationships with key clients and partners, and provides guidance to the sales team in line with the company's commercial objectives. By monitoring performance, analyzing market trends, and ensuring high-quality customer service, the Sales Manager contributes directly to the sustainable growth and long-term success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Achieve and exceed sales targets for assigned markets in alignment with company objectives, growth strategies, and profitability goals.
• Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, including reviewing customer RFQs, clarifying technical and commercial specifications, and overseeing timely and competitive quotations in collaboration with the sales support team.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans for assigned markets, ensuring sustainable revenue growth, market penetration, and alignment with business objectives.
• Negotiate contracts, agreements, and pricing strategies with customers to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive positioning.
• Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities, while maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key accounts and strategic customers.
• Provide technical and commercial presentations to customers, ensuring clear communication of value propositions and differentiation of company offerings.
• Oversee and monitor sales performance metrics, regularly preparing sales reports, forecasts, and activity summaries for executive management.
• Gather and analyze market intelligence, competitor activity, and emerging trends to inform strategic decisionmaking and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, R&D, Contracts, Operations, Supply Chain, etc.) to ensure customer requirements are met and solutions are technically and commercially sound.
• Represent and promote the company brand externally, enhancing its reputation, visibility, and relationships within the market.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into quotation, CRM, and customer management systems to maintain pipeline visibility and performance tracking.
• Provide executive-level updates to the Market Manager, Director of Sales, and other stakeholders, offering insights on sales activities, progress, and key opportunities.
• Support team capability-building initiatives, mentoring and guiding junior sales team members to strengthen overall performance.

Qualification & Education:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field. / MBA preferred.
• Years of Experience: 10–12 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role within electrical products, industrial solutions, or manufacturing.
