Sales Manager-Events
Our client is hiring a Sales Manager to drive stand sales and sponsorship revenue across a profitable exhibition portfolio. This role is focused on building strong client relationships, winning new business, and delivering against ambitious revenue targets through a mix of targeted meetings and market-led sales strategy.
Sales strategy & planning
- Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans, tracking performance against targets and adjusting tactics to close gaps
- Build persuasive proposals, pitch decks and sales collateral in collaboration with Marketing
- Maintain a strong pipeline by researching new prospects, sector trends and competitor activity
- Ensure accurate booking administration, forecasting, reporting and risk tracking
- Identify growth opportunities using market insight, data and client feedback
- Attend relevant industry events and competitor shows to source leads and bring back new ideas
Client relationship & service
- Build and manage relationships with key accounts and high-value prospects
- Deliver a high standard of exhibitor service across the full event cycle
- Drive rebooking and retention to achieve targeted rebook rates
Floorplan & portfolio support
- Support floorplan strategy and plot allocation to optimise revenue and exhibitor mix
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure the portfolio is positioned competitively and commercially
Industry partnerships
- Develop relationships with trade associations, publications and industry bodies to support event growth
- Manage and motivate the international agent network, ensuring regular performance communication and alignment
On-site delivery
- Take on exhibition run responsibilities from build-up to tear-down, working closely with Operations
- Support VIP arrangements and partner engagement activities where required
Experience
- 3+ years sales experience (exhibitions/events preferred)
- Proven ability to hit revenue targets and grow a pipeline through proactive prospecting
- Confidence selling via phone, video and in-person meetings

- Highly organised with great attention to detail and comfort working with analytics and reporting
