Job Description

Job Title: Sales Manager

Reporting to: Director of Sales & Business Development

The Role

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving the marketing and sales of Integrated Security Solutions and Facilities Management to both prospective and existing clients. The role focuses on achieving established revenue targets, maintaining required margins, and expanding market share through strategic account development and solution-based selling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular cold calling and canvassing activities to generate new business opportunities.
  • Grow revenue within existing customer accounts and identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Achieve budgeted revenue targets while maintaining minimum margin requirements.
  • Strategically position the company's capabilities and integrated security solutions within client environments.
  • Identify, develop, and convert opportunities within new client accounts.
  • Plan and execute customer-focused events and engagement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement a regional sales strategy based on analysis of market conditions, competitor activity, product offerings, customer base, and available resources.
  • Arrange and conduct meetings with prospective and existing clients, in coordination with operational management where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
  • Adopt and promote a solution-driven sales approach tailored to client sector requirements.
  • Ensure proper investigation and implementation of new revenue streams within client accounts.
  • Finalize contract documentation (Service Agreements, Letters of Intent) in line with standard terms and conditions, securing required approvals for any deviations.
  • Submit Contract Schedules to relevant departments for processing.
  • Maintain comprehensive customer files, including signed contracts and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure the Head Office receives copies of all executed contracts.
  • Follow up to ensure all outstanding contracts are duly signed.
  • Prepare and submit weekly activity reports and monthly reports to the Head Office.
  • Obtain confirmation from the Finance Director that proposals comply with pricing and approval policies.
  • Exercise sound judgment in tender participation, avoiding bids where there is no clear competitive advantage.
  • Develop and maintain sales tools and marketing materials (presentations, brochures, promotional media, exhibitions, etc.).
  • Execute marketing and communication campaigns in alignment with the strategic marketing plan.
  • Monitor product implementation, usage, and revenue performance post-sale.

Selection Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Sales roles within the Manpower, Security, Logistics, Staffing, or manpower-intensive industries.
  • Strong background in revenue growth, efficiency management, cost control, and regulatory compliance.
  • Operational experience in the same industry with account and customer management exposure is highly advantageous.
