The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth in Egypt through the sale of Jira-based solutions, including licensing, upgrades, cloud migrations, and consulting services. The role focuses on enterprise account acquisition, expansion of existing clients, and building long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive sales of Atlassian solutions, including:
- Jira Software
- Jira Service Management
- Confluence
- Atlassian Cloud migrations and upgrades
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Identify and acquire new enterprise clients across Egypt.
- Expand existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with a minimum of 3x quota coverage.
2. Account Management
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for key enterprise customers.
- Engage with senior decision-makers including CIOs, IT Directors, PMOs, and Engineering Leaders.
- Position Jira as a strategic enterprise platform supporting ALM, ITSM, and DevOps transformation.
3. Sales Cycle Management
- Manage the full sales lifecycle:
- Lead generation
- Qualification
- Product demonstrations coordination
- Proposal development
- Negotiation
- Closing deals
- Collaborate closely with presales and technical consultants for solution design and positioning.
- Participate in RFP responses and commercial negotiations.
4. Market Development
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape in the ITSM and Agile tools space.
- Develop and maintain relationships with system integrators, partners, and enterprise clients.
- Support marketing initiatives, events, and Atlassian-focused campaigns in Egypt.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in B2B IT sales.
- Proven experience selling software licenses or SaaS solutions.
- Strong understanding of:
- Agile and DevOps concepts
- ITSM fundamentals
- SDLC / ALM lifecycle
- Existing network within enterprise or government sectors in Egypt is highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and closing skills.
- Fluent in both Arabic and English.
