Job Description

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth in Egypt through the sale of Jira-based solutions, including licensing, upgrades, cloud migrations, and consulting services. The role focuses on enterprise account acquisition, expansion of existing clients, and building long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Drive sales of Atlassian solutions, including:
  • Jira Software
  • Jira Service Management
  • Confluence
  • Atlassian Cloud migrations and upgrades
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Identify and acquire new enterprise clients across Egypt.
  • Expand existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with a minimum of 3x quota coverage.

2. Account Management

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for key enterprise customers.
  • Engage with senior decision-makers including CIOs, IT Directors, PMOs, and Engineering Leaders.
  • Position Jira as a strategic enterprise platform supporting ALM, ITSM, and DevOps transformation.

3. Sales Cycle Management

  • Manage the full sales lifecycle:
  • Lead generation
  • Qualification
  • Product demonstrations coordination
  • Proposal development
  • Negotiation
  • Closing deals
  • Collaborate closely with presales and technical consultants for solution design and positioning.
  • Participate in RFP responses and commercial negotiations.

4. Market Development

  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape in the ITSM and Agile tools space.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with system integrators, partners, and enterprise clients.
  • Support marketing initiatives, events, and Atlassian-focused campaigns in Egypt.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in B2B IT sales.
  • Proven experience selling software licenses or SaaS solutions.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Agile and DevOps concepts
  • ITSM fundamentals
  • SDLC / ALM lifecycle
  • Existing network within enterprise or government sectors in Egypt is highly preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and closing skills.
  • Fluent in both Arabic and English.
