Job Description

Exhibition Sales Manager

Location: Dubai

We are seeking an experienced Exhibition Sales Manager for one of our exhibition clients to drive revenue growth through the sale of exhibition space, sponsorship packages, and strategic partnerships across a portfolio of events.

This role requires a commercially driven individual with strong relationship-building skills, experience selling into the events sector, and the ability to engage with senior decision-makers across a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of exhibitor and sponsor accounts, ensuring high levels of client retention and revenue growth.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities to expand the exhibitor and sponsorship base.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales revenue and profitability targets.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers through a consultative sales approach.
  • Understand clients business objectives and recommend tailored exhibition, sponsorship, and partnership solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and commercial agreements.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasting and reporting.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activity, and potential business opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, content, and production teams to ensure successful event delivery.
  • Attend industry events, networking functions, and exhibitions to generate leads and strengthen market presence.
  • Support exhibitors and sponsors throughout the event lifecycle, ensuring contractual commitments are fulfilled and client expectations are exceeded.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive, high-performance sales culture when required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in exhibition sales, sponsorship sales, event sales, or a related B2B commercial role.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience selling exhibition space, sponsorship opportunities, or event-related solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the exhibitions, conferences, events, or trade show industry.
  • Experience managing key accounts and developing long-term client relationships.
  • Ability to engage and negotiate with senior-level stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
