Strategically develop and execute go-to-market plans for expanding the organization's footprint across retail clients.
Build and nurture C-level relationships with stakeholders across target organizations to become a trusted advisor and long-term partner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Presales, Solutions, Delivery, and Marketing to design and present compelling, customized solutions.
Proactively manage pipeline and forecasting activities, ensuring alignment with the organization's quarterly and annual revenue goals.
Stay abreast of emerging retail technology trends (e.g. digital transformation, supply chain digitization, AI/ML in retail) and translate those into customer-relevant sales opportunities.
Representing the organization at key industry forums, regional events, and client meetings, strengthening brand presence in the region.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of proven experience in direct B2B sales of IT services, enterprise software solutions, or digital transformation offerings, preferably within large-sized IT services or consulting firms.
Preferred retail domain experience with deep understanding of retail business processes, challenges, and technology ecosystems.
Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed revenue targets through strategic prospecting and relationship management.
Strong track record in customer acquisition, consultative solution selling, and closing high-value deals across the APAC market.
Must have prior working experience in the local APAC region, with a solid grasp of local business practices, cultures, and regulatory environments.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable with travel within the APAC region as required to support sales engagements.
Bachelor's degree in business, IT, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is an added advantage.
Experience selling digital commerce platforms, AI/ML solutions, cloud-native applications, for retail.
Background in working with regional system integrators, boutique consulting firms, or fast-growing IT services companies.
