Job Title: Sales Manager Retail (Chocolates, Perfumes & Flowers)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager with strong retail experience in premium chocolates, perfumes, and floral gifting. The ideal candidate will recruit and lead the sales team, drive revenue growth, enhance customer experience, and ensure smooth daily retail operations while maintaining brand excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets
- Drive in-store sales performance and increase average transaction value
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across chocolates, perfumes, and flowers
- Monitor KPIs including conversion rate, footfall, and customer retention
Team Leadership & Management
- Recruit, train, and mentor retail sales staff
- Set individual sales targets and monitor team performance
- Motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions
Customer Experience
- Ensure premium customer service standards are consistently delivered
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and VIP clients professionally
- Create seasonal promotions and gifting campaigns (Valentine's Day, Ramadan, Eid, Christmas, etc.)
Operations & Inventory
- Oversee stock management, replenishment, and shrinkage control
- Coordinate with suppliers for chocolates, perfumes, and fresh flower inventory
- Ensure proper visual merchandising and brand presentation
- Maintain hygiene, quality control, and product freshness standards
Marketing & Business Development
- Collaborate with marketing team for promotions and product launches
- Build corporate gifting partnerships and B2B sales opportunities
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of retail sales management experience (preferably in chocolates, perfumes, flowers, luxury gifting, or FMCG)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of POS systems and inventory management
- Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in luxury or premium retail brands
- Knowledge of fragrance profiles, chocolate varieties, and floral trends
- Experience in UAE/GCC retail market (if applicable), driving license an advantage
