Job Purpose:
The position will be responsible for driving revenue growth through customer acquisition and engagement with a focus on supply chain logistics solutions selling in a B2B environment. Additionally, the role will be responsible for managing and mentoring Sales Specialists / Executives for growing the target market.
Key Responsibilities :
- Formulate, recommend, and execute sales strategies for all services served by Noatum Logistics, comprising of Freight Forwarding (Air / Ocean / Land), Contracts Logistics, End-to-end supply chain solutions.
- Grow the market share in KSA by building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in target organizations
- Lead and direct the sales and bookings in collaboration with customer service team to ensure that sales targets are achieved through the efficient implementation of approved sales and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with the product team to provide feedback and insights on market trends and customer needs
- Execute plans and programs as directed by the line manager
- Oversee and manage an efficient and sales team with focus on driving appropriate logistics solution in the right markets
- Form day-to-day sales strategies to meet targets, and keep the company competitive and innovative.
- Serve as the company's business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, expositions
- Form sales plans to effectively address emerging changes or shifts in key markets or sectors
- Evaluate and formulate career development plans for the sales team.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure that clients expectations are met and service commitments are delivered.
- Ensure the maximum utilization of company assets and equipment at all times
- Prepare appropriate presentations for pitching the company and its product value proposition to the target audiences at all times
- Prepare commercially competitive and technically sound proposals with the objective of maximizing wins
- Implement well-planned and thought through sales and marketing strategies to achieve targets and market leadership.
- Must have at least 8 years work experience in logistics sales or customer service or operations.
- Must be knowledgeable in logistics market.
- Prior work experience in the air / ocean forwarding or warehousing and distribution industry is an advantage.
- Must be a graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/ Management or any business related course. MBA or similar post-graduate course is an advantage.
