We are representing a confidential global marine services organisation that has been supporting vessels worldwide for more than two decades. With a presence in over 350 ports, they deliver 24/7 technical support to ensure vessel safety and compliance. One of their core divisions specialises exclusively in marine elevator servicing, performing everything from annual safety inspections to repair, maintenance, and full modernisations for offshore assets and vessels.
Role Overview
The Sales Manager - Offshore will focus on expanding the company's marine elevator business across the offshore sector. This role is responsible for driving new opportunities, increasing service demand, and building strong relationships within the offshore and Oil and Gas vessel market. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will play a key role in shaping sales strategy and strengthening the company's footprint across the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a targeted sales and business development plan for the marine elevator segment
* Identify and pursue new offshore customers, particularly within drilling, offshore support vessels, and production assets
* Increase RFQs by actively promoting marine elevator inspection, servicing, and modernisation capabilities
* Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends and new opportunities
* Maintain a structured pipeline and conduct regular customer visits, including frequent travel to West Africa
* Collaborate with internal teams across operations, technical, marketing, and finance
* Ensure smooth handover of confirmed work to internal delivery teams
* Prepare sales reports, monitor activity, and track performance metrics
* Resolve complex sales support issues and keep customers informed throughout the process
Candidate Profile
* 5 to 7 years of sales or account management experience within Oil and Gas or marine services
* Experience in maritime, engineering, procurement, or technical service environments
* Proven commercial success in technical sales, ideally with equipment or service-based offerings
* Excellent communication and business English writing skills
* Independent, customer focused, commercially driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
* Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to travel frequently
