Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales operations in hypermarkets and supermarkets. The ideal candidate will have strong relationships in modern trade, a solid understanding of fresh produce sales and a passion for organic food and sustainable agriculture.
This position directly reports to the General Manager.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies for organic vegetables in hypermarkets and supermarkets
- Build, manage, and grow relationships with buyers, category managers and retail partners
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, promotions and shelf placement
- Forecast sales, plan demand and coordinate with farm operations and logistics teams
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and consumer demand
- Ensure consistent product availability, quality standards and timely deliveries
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and revenue growth
- Prepare sales reports and performance analysis for management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture or a related field
- 37 years of experience in sales, preferably in fresh produce, FMCG or organic vegetables
- Proven experience selling to hypermarkets and supermarkets (modern trade)
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of fresh vegetable supply chains
- Ability to work independently and travel as required
- Passion for organic farming and sustainable food systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing network with retail buyers and distributors
- Experience with organic standards
- Familiarity with pricing strategies and promotional planning in modern trade
