About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead the growth of a portfolio of digital solutions designed for sellers and merchants. The ideal candidate has strong experience working with retailers, merchants, and business owners, with a solid understanding of the tools they use to sell, collect payments, and manage day-to-day operations. This is a commercially driven leadership role focused on building a strong sales pipeline, developing merchant relationships, and leading a high-performing team across multiple sectors.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for merchant-focused payment and commerce solutions.
  • Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to achieve acquisition, revenue, and activation targets.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of merchants across retail, services, food and beverage, e-commerce, and other relevant sectors.
  • Identify merchant needs and recommend solutions that improve sales, payment collection, and business operations.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation, onboarding, and activation.
  • Build strong relationships with key merchants, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Partner with product, operations, onboarding, and customer success teams to deliver a smooth merchant experience.
  • Monitor sales performance, conversion rates, merchant activation, and portfolio growth.
  • Use market insights and merchant feedback to support product development and commercial planning.
  • Develop sales processes, reporting standards, incentive plans, and performance management frameworks.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and strategic partnerships within the approved authority matrix.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date CRM records across the sales team.

What We're Looking For

  • 5–8 years of experience in B2B sales, merchant acquisition, payments, fintech, SaaS, POS, e-commerce, or commerce technology.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing or leading a sales team.
  • Proven experience selling solutions to merchants, retailers, SMEs, or business owners.
  • Strong understanding of merchant payments, POS systems, digital payment methods, e-commerce tools, or business management software.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and achieve ambitious commercial targets.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Strong track record in building sales pipelines and improving conversion and activation rates.

  • Preferred exposure to merchant acquiring, POS, retail or restaurant technology, e-commerce enablement, seller tools, inventory and order management, payment links, online checkout, BNPL, SME SaaS, or merchant onboarding and activation.
