EELAF is seeking an experienced Sales Manager – Structured Cabling & Data Center Solutions to lead the commercial growth of our IT Infrastructure business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing business with system integrators, contractors, consultants, data center operators, and enterprise customers. The role requires strong technical knowledge, proven market relationships, and the ability to lead a sales team, manage a qualified project pipeline, and achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the sales strategy for structured cabling, fiber-optic, data center, and IT infrastructure solutions.
- Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to achieve revenue, gross-profit, collection, and market-development targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with system integrators, contractors, consultants, enterprise customers, and data center operators.
- Identify new projects and business opportunities across commercial, industrial, hospitality, healthcare, government, and infrastructure sectors.
- Manage key accounts and strategic opportunities from qualification through negotiation and order closure.
- Maintain an accurate and qualified sales pipeline through the company's CRM system.
- Work closely with presales engineers to review project requirements, BOQs, specifications, and proposed technical solutions.
- Coordinate with vendors on project registration, special pricing, technical support, and commercial approvals.
- Ensure quotations and proposed solutions meet customer requirements while maintaining the required profitability.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing movements, and emerging technologies.
- Coordinate with product management, supply chain, and operations teams regarding stock planning, project requirements, deliveries, and order fulfilment.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reviews, performance reports, and market-development plans.
- Support the expansion of EELAF's partner and system-integrator network.
- Ensure compliance with the company's commercial policies, credit controls, and ERP procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of B2B sales experience in structured cabling, data center, networking infrastructure, or ELV solutions.
- At least 3 years of experience in a sales leadership or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of copper and fiber structured cabling systems.
- Good understanding of data center infrastructure, including racks, cabinets, containment, fiber connectivity, cable management, and related passive infrastructure.
- Established relationships with system integrators, contractors, consultants, and enterprise customers in Egypt.
- Proven record of achieving sales and profitability targets.
- Experience managing project pipelines, commercial negotiations, and vendor relationships.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Good command of English.
- Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems.
- A valid driving licence is preferred.
