Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: Singapore (Hybrid / Local Travel Required)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Head of Sales / Managing Director

About The Whole Kitchen

At The Whole Kitchen, we believe that eating well should never mean compromising on taste. We craft delicious, all-natural, gluten-free, and refined-sugar-free snacks and baked goods using premium ingredients. As we continue to scale our presence across retail shelves, food service partners, corporate accounts, and e-commerce platforms in Singapore, we are looking for a driven and strategic Sales Manager to accelerate our next phase of growth.

Role Overview

As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth across key channels including grocery retail, specialty food stores, corporate accounts, hotels/cafes, and food service partners in Singapore. You will manage existing key accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities to expand our brand presence.

The ideal candidate is passionate about health and wellness, possesses strong B2B sales experience in the FMCG / F&B sector, and thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Pipeline Growth

  • Identify and secure new B2B accounts across target channels: premium supermarkets, independent grocers, corporate offices, hotels, cafes, gyms, and wellness spaces.

  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles-from cold outreach and presentations to product tastings, commercial negotiations, and closing deals.

2. Key Account Management

  • Nurture and expand relationships with key retail buyers, category managers, and distribution partners.

  • Plan and execute joint account growth strategies, including shelf placement optimization, promotional calendars, and co-marketing activations.

  • Monitor product rotation, manage stock levels, and minimize out-of-stock scenarios at customer locations.

3. Sales Strategy & Forecasting

  • Collaborate with leadership to set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Analyze sales data, track KPIs (revenue, gross margins, channel performance), and deliver actionable insights to management.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer demand to identify new growth pockets.

4. Field Sales & Brand Representation

  • Conduct regular trade visits to ensure proper product merchandising, stock freshness, and brand presentation across key outlets.

  • Represent The Whole Kitchen at trade shows, corporate wellness events, pop-ups, and industry networking events.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of progressive sales/business development experience in the FMCG, F&B, or natural foods industry in Singapore.

  • Network: Established network of retail buyers, category managers, or food service procurement contacts in Singapore is highly advantageous.

  • Passion for Wellness: Genuine interest in healthy eating, clean label nutrition, and lifestyle trends.

  • Commercial Acumen: Solid understanding of margins, pricing structures, trade terms, and retail promotion dynamics.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong negotiation abilities.

  • Mindset: Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking ownership in an agile SMB environment.

Why Join Us

  • Impact: Play a central role in scaling a high-growth local brand dedicated to real food and health.

  • Culture: Join a collaborative, passionate, and health-conscious team environment.

  • Perks: Generous staff discounts on all products, competitive salary package with performance incentives, and opportunities for professional growth.
