We are seeking a highly motivated Sales & Operations Executive in Freight Forwarding & Logistics to oversee day-to-day shipping operations, coordinate with global partners, and ensure smooth workflow across the supply chain. The role involves managing import and export processes, monitoring shipment schedules, resolving operational challenges, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in international freight forwarding, supply chain management, and customer relations, along with leadership capabilities to support team performance, operational efficiency, and business growth.

Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, logistics, and international trade regulations.
- Proven negotiation skills with customers, agents, and shipping lines.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
- Experience with ERP systems (Odoo is a plus)
Nice to have
- Experience with digital freight solutions.
- Experience managing cross-functional logistics teams.
- Experience working with international partners and agents.
- Strong KPI monitoring and performance optimization experience.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics services.
- Prepare and present competitive freight quotations based on customer requirements.
- Negotiate and close deals to maximize profitability.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to align operations with promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight agents, and international partners for import and export shipments.
- Track shipments and provide regular status updates to customers.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, COO, B/L).
- Oversee daily freight forwarding operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Ensure compliance with customs clearance procedures and trade regulations.
- Coordinate with customs brokers and clearance teams to avoid delays and penalties.
- Train and mentor Sales & Operations Officers.
- Monitor team performance using operational and sales KPIs.
- Oversee departmental workflows and maintain service quality standards.
- Update and manage logistics pricing and freight rates.
- Monitor ERP system accuracy and data integrity.
- Prepare sales and operations reports for management review.
