Serai Collective is a cultural fashion house based in Dubai. We curate independent designers rooted in craftsmanship, culture, and community, and create retail experiences shaped by storytelling, human connection, and thoughtful commerce.

More than a traditional boutique, Serai is a platform and meeting placebringing together designers, artisans, and communities through curated collections, intimate events, and cultural activations.

Role Overview

Serai Collective is currently in its pre-launch phase, preparing to open its physical retail space in 2026. We are hiring a Sales & Operations Manager to join during this foundational stage and play a key role in building the commercial and operational framework ahead of launch.

This position sits at the intersection of sales strategy, operational execution, and team leadership. The selected candidate will work closely with the Founder to establish systems, drive commercial readiness, and ensure a seamless transition into full retail operations upon launch.

This is an opportunity for a commercially minded leader who thrives in early-stage environments and is excited to build from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Commercial Strategy

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with Serai's positioning and designer portfolio
  • Support pre-launch commercial planning, forecasting, and pricing alignment
  • Drive in-store sales performance post-launch and achieve monthly/quarterly targets
  • Build long-term client and community relationships

Operations & Store Management

  • Assist in building operational systems, SOPs, and reporting structures during pre-launch
  • Oversee daily boutique operations post-launch (scheduling, logistics, vendor coordination)
  • Maintain communication with designers and partners
  • Support visual merchandising and event execution

Client Experience & Community Building

  • Establish service standards aligned with Serai's positioning of warmth, depth, and care
  • Act as a brand ambassador within the regional creative community
  • Support designer showcases, activations, and cultural events
  • Support planning and execution of designer showcases, trunk shows, and cultural events
  • Contribute ideas that strengthen community engagement and brand presence

Inventory, Reporting & Optimization

  • Create inventory flow SOPs, accuracy, and sell-through performance
  • O sales data and prepare regular reports
  • Identify operational gaps and propose solutions to improve efficiency and profitability

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Must be on your own Visa (mandatory)
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 13 years of experience (including internships) in retail operations, sales support, or brand coordination
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic
  • Background in fashion, retail, hospitality, or concept stores preferred

Tools & Skills

  • Proficient in Shopify, Notion, Google Suite, and Excel
  • Familiarity with Canva or similar tools for presentations
