Position Overview
The Sales Promoter will be responsible for representing Client at retail outlets and driving sales of Client products, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and accessories. The role involves engaging customers, understanding their needs, providing product demonstrations, and delivering an excellent customer experience to maximize sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- KPI Management
- Achieve assigned sales targets
- Ensure effective execution of in-store activities
- Utilize retail applications (iRetail) and ensure daily updates of sales, inventory, and display status
- Material Management
- Ensure proper distribution of POSM materials (posters, leaflets, standees, etc.) across assigned stores
- Conduct daily checks to ensure correct display and visibility of branding materials
- Reporting
- Collect and report data related to sales, inventory, and branding
- Monitor competitor activities and provide timely feedback
- Report on POSM display status and additional requirements
- Communication & Collaboration
- Coordinate with internal teams to support sales and inventory availability in stores
- Maintain strong communication with store owners to secure branding space and support
- Build and maintain relationships with store stakeholders (KDR/IR channels)
- Product Knowledge
- Maintain strong knowledge of Client products and their competitive advantages
- Stay updated on competitor products and market trends
- Sales Targets (SO/ST)
- Achieve monthly Sell-Out (SO) and Sell-Through (ST) targets
- Acceptance Materials
- Acceptance materials must be collected on time.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in retail sales or customer service (electronics preferred)
- Background in electronics or technology is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of smartphones, tablets, and laptops
- Customer-focused with strong selling skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Presentable, energetic, and persuasive personality
- Basic English proficiency; additional languages are an advantage
