Job Description

Summary

Gulf Mercantile Exchange (GME) is seeking a motivated and ambitious sales and relationship manager to explore commodity risk management opportunities in the KSA. The candidate will educate clients on developing commodity markets and the use of futures for price risk management, promote the exchange's full suite of commodity products and services, and represent GME at regional conferences and events.

The prospective candidate will work closely with the sales and marketing team in Dubai and contribute to new products development based on the needs of the KSA. Furthermore, as the Exchange and its products offering expands, the candidate will be expected to lead the promotion of new commodity futures to new clients within the KSA and the wider GCC region.

Duties

Investigate all commodity related opportunities within the KSA by working closely with GME shareholder Saudi Tadawul Group (STG)

Define market segmentation and build client engagement plans

Build and maintain market network across industry & government

Educate prospective clients on the role of Exchanges and commodity futures in the industry

Dive deeper into elementary but practical risk management techniques for producers and consumers of commodities

Work closely with Dubai Head Office on product development

Skills and Experience required

Experience working within the commodity and/or financial markets.

Knowledge of financial derivatives and risk management techniques an advantage.

At least 5 years Relationship management and Sales experience.

Willing to undertake regional and international (Asia) travel

Familiarity with CRM

Trading experiences a plus

Computer programming skills an advantage.

Academic Background

Fluent in English and Arabic.

Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance or a scientific discipline.
