Job Description

Main purpose of the job:

The Sales Specialist drives direct B2B revenue and footfall across our clinical and diagnostic facilities by sourcing, negotiating, closing, and managing strategic contracts with professional syndicates, associations, third-party administrators (TPAs), and institutional accounts. This role specializes in establishing direct billing agreements, streamlined direct claiming workflows, and tiered cash discount deals. The specialist acts as the commercial owner throughout the contract lifecycle, from lead origination and complex legal/commercial negotiations to contract renewal, retention, and account expansion.

Key responsibilities:

Sales & business development:

  • Identify, qualify, and map high-potential accounts, including professional syndicates, professional associations, corporate affinity clubs, universities, petroleum companies and specialized non-insured groups. Develop a consistent business development pipeline of direct contracting opportunities that expand patient volume and direct revenue streams.

Contract Structuring, Negotiation & Closing:

  • Lead end-to-end commercial negotiations with syndicate board members, procurement committees, and affinity decision-makers. Structure sustainable deals based on either direct billing credit arrangements (with negotiated credit terms and pre-defined claim criteria) or customized cash discount matrices. Formulate official commercial proposals and oversee finalized agreements to final signature.

On-ground activations:

  • Plan and execute tailored marketing activations, health awareness days, screening campaigns, and promotional events within syndicate clubs, headquarters, and member gatherings. Ensure our service portfolio and specialized affinity discounts are widely communicated to the syndicate's broader membership base.

Account Retention, Renewal & Growth

  • Act as the dedicated key account manager for all contracted affinity partners. Monitor account utilization rates, claim volume, revenue contribution, and member satisfaction. Proactively initiate contract renewal discussions well ahead of expiration dates, renegotiating terms, updating discount, and addressing historical operational gaps to secure long-term client retention.

Performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Growth in utilization & revenue from affinity accounts.
  • Total number of finalized direct agreements signed with syndicates and affinity partners.
  • Revenue and growth originating from contracted affinity.
  • Contract renewal rate (target and successful renegotiation of term).
  • Implementation efficiency and adherence to direct billing and claiming timelines.
