Job Purpose:To lead and develop an effective sales team by supervising retail sales representatives. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, ensuring proper route coverage, and maximizing the display and distribution of PMI brands across designated areas in Egypt.
Key Responsibilities:- Distribute sales targets across the sales team based on performance and company strategy.
- Supervise daily operations of the sales representatives, resolving any route or customer-related issues.
- Ensure route optimization through geo-mapping and coordinate periodic reviews to align actual visits with planned locations.
- Add new customers to the routes when aligned with company expansion strategies.
- Regularly update customer databases, monitor visit frequency, and remove inactive accounts in line with company policy.
- Conduct regular field visits to evaluate team performance, submit reports, and provide coaching and feedback.
- Review monthly offers with the team and monitor implementation to increase sales percentages.
- Monitor and report on competitor activities within the market.
- Follow up on the status of marketing materials and point-of-sale displays at customer locations.
- Develop the capabilities of sales representatives through coaching and performance follow-ups.
- Track daily efficiency of sales representatives and implement action plans for improvement.
- Ensure full execution of the 'steps of the call' and adherence to internal and external company policies.
- Act as a backup to Sales Representatives and Spare Reps when necessary.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:- University degree in a relevant field.
- 35 years of proven experience in sales, preferably within the FMCG or tobacco industry.
