Role Description The Sales Team Manager is a full-time role based in Cairo, Egypt, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows a combination of office and work-from-home days. This role is responsible for leading and coaching a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales targets, while ensuring high-quality customer service and adherence to company policies and compliance standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting clear performance objectives, monitoring sales metrics, conducting regular team meetings, and providing ongoing training and support. The Sales Team Manager will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop effective sales strategies, resolve escalated customer issues, and identify opportunities to improve processes and customer experiences. The role also involves reporting on team performance, forecasting sales, and contributing to the continuous development of MetLife's sales practices in the local market.
Qualifications

  • Team Management and Training skills to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven Sales experience, including meeting or exceeding targets and implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Experience working in insurance, financial services, or a related sector is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, prepare performance reports, and make informed decisions based on metrics.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and standard office software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, and email platforms).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a hybrid environment, managing priorities both in-office and remotely.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
