Job Description

Summary:

The Pharmaceutical Raw Materials Sales Officer is responsible for sales and account development related to pharmaceutical raw materials throughout Egypt. This role requires the effective utilisation of an established industry network while maintaining excellent and consistent relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, approach, and convert pharmaceutical companies, manufacturing facilities, and distributors for raw material sales.

Manage the complete sales cycle, inclusive of lead generation, quotation preparation, negotiations, order follow-up, and coordination with operations and logistics.

Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients through regular visits, calls, and professional follow-ups.

Accurately document records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.

Collaborate internally with procurement, logistics, finance, and quality assurance departments to guarantee timely delivery and client satisfaction.

Meet and exceed established monthly and quarterly sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, Business, or a related field is preferred. Additional certifications in sales or the pharmaceutical industry are advantageous.

A minimum of three to five years of B2B sales experience in the pharmaceutical or raw materials sectors.

A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel frequently throughout Egypt.(A Must)

Proven access to over 300 pharmaceutical companies within Egypt.

Direct contacts or relationships with numerous pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, numbering 174.

An established network that includes many of the over 100 Nafsa companies in Egypt (about distribution), with clarification on the constituents of this list to be provided by the candidate.

Connections with bulk buyers and traders within the industry.

A demonstrated history of successfully closing deals with pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors.

Performance and Technical Requirements:

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English.

Proficient in utilizing CRM systems as well as Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Competence in preparing clear quotations, proposals, and basic commercial terms (including letters of credit and payment terms).

Familiarity with routine client visits and comfort in remote and field work environments.

A willingness to undergo background and reference checks is required.

A probationary period of three months will be instituted, during which an initial performance review will be conducted based on measurable targets.
