Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Travel Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in travel sales, with strong knowledge of European tour programs, and the ability to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell travel packages, tours, and customized itineraries to clients.
- Advise clients on European destinations, travel programs, visa requirements, and best travel options.
- Design tailored travel itineraries based on customer preferences, budget, and travel goals.
- Handle client inquiries through phone calls, emails, and walk-ins, ensuring high conversion rates.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Coordinate with suppliers (hotels, airlines, DMCs) to secure competitive rates and availability.
- Prepare quotations, confirm bookings, and follow up until trip completion.
- Keep up to date with market trends, new travel products, and competitor offerings.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the travel and tourism industry.
- Strong experience with European tour programs is a must.
- Proven sales skills with a strong ability to close deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Good knowledge of travel booking systems and tourism platforms is an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Passion for travel and tourism with a customer-oriented mindset.
