SalesForce Technical Lead - Cairo
Job Description
- Lead the end-to-end technical design and delivery of Salesforce solutions, including custom development, integrations, and platform configurations
- Architect scalable solutions across Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.) aligned with best practices
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, data models, and solution designs
- Develop and review Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages, and Flows
- Own the technical governance of the Salesforce org — managing code quality, release management, and deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
- Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and administrators, conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance
- Design and implement integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms (e.g., Jitterbit), and platform events
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners to align technical solutions with business goals
- Manage and mitigate technical risks, proactively identifying issues and recommending solutions
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, new features, and emerging best practices, and assess their impact on the platform
- Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and regulatory requirements within the Salesforce environment
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with at least 2 years in a technical lead or senior role
- Deep expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs
- Strong experience with Salesforce declarative tools — Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, and Custom Metadata
- Proven experience designing and building integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and event-driven architecture
- Solid understanding of Salesforce data modelling, security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules), and governor limits
- Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Salesforce DX, Git, Copado, Gearset, or similar)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
- Required: Salesforce Platform Developer I
- Preferred: Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect
- Strong leadership and team mentoring capabilities
- Excellent communication skills — able to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in large-scale Salesforce org transformations or migrations
- Proficiency with dbt for data transformation and modelling
- Hands-on experience with data orchestration and data pipeline tools
- Experience with Tableau for data visualisation and reporting
