SAP ABAP developer

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our growing SAP team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP ABAP development, enhancements, integrations, and support across SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain SAP ABAP programs and custom developments.
• Develop and support Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW).
• Build and enhance SAP objects including:
• Reports (Classical, Interactive, ALV)
• SmartForms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms
• User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework
• Function Modules and RFCs
• IDocs and ALE integrations
• BAPIs and Web Services
• Collaborate with SAP Functional Consultants to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and provide ongoing application support.
• Develop technical specifications and documentation.
• Participate in SAP implementation, upgrade, migration, and support projects.
• Optimize ABAP programs for performance and scalability.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong expertise in:
• ABAP Programming
• Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP)
• ALV Reports
• SmartForms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms
• BDC, BAPI, RFC, IDoc
• User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancements
• Module Pool Programming
• Experience working with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, and SAP Fiori integration is highly desirable.
• Experience with SAP integration technologies and interfaces.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• SAP ABAP Certification is preferred.
• Experience in Agile project delivery environments.
• Exposure to SAP modules such as FICO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, or SuccessFactors is advantageous.
