JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE
Supervise all business planning activities including budgeting, forecasting, actual cost vs planned as well as preparing financial report with details and justifications. Monitor of cost centers, identifying gaps, and propose solutions. Provide SAP Plant Maintenance Module System Support and Training for all employees.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Budget & Cost Analysis (Internal and External)
- Analyze material and contractor spend patterns and planned and unplanned maintenance work, providing cost saving recommendations to the Operation's Leadership Teams (Maintenance, Production, Technical, TA, and Projects).
- Monitor the Operation Cost Centers spending against budget and report abnormalities to the Operation's Leadership Teams.
- Conduct cost analysis for the Maintenance Contractors and provide gap closure recommendations to Maintenance leadership.
- Coordinate cost optimization and control activities in the Operational areas. Prepare and present status reports to Plant Leadership Team.
Routine Duties
- Coordinate Maintenance Department yearly budget by analyzing historic patterns and planned maintenance work.
- Inputs the Maintenance Master Data in SAP such as, Functional Locations, Equipment Master Data, and Bill of Materials.
- Create Preventive Maintenance Plans and Job Task Lists in SAP for plant asset maintenance.
- Support the Material Review Board with the necessary spare part analysis, including movement trends.
- Provide SAP Technical Support for the entire Plant to rectify the issue when users cannot perform due to unidentified reasons
Routine Duties

- Provide support for SAP upgrades, disaster recover tests, SAP maintenance and any SAP / Meridium interface for ERG.
- Monitor & support in controlling the Overtime rate for the department
- Review all Maintenance invoices and confirm charges prior to submittal to Maintenance Management team.
- Monitor and follow up with the service entry sheet (SES) entries for each section to pay contractors and provide support when needed.

- Contribute and recommend opportunities for the continuous improvement of Departmental systems, policies, processes and practices taking into account international leading practices in order to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
- Provide critical input to support the development of Section's systems, policies, processes, and procedures in order to meet business requirements.
- Implement all relevant Section's policies, processes, procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Quality, Health, Security, Safety and Environment
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant quality, health, safety, security and environmental procedures and controls across the Department to guarantee employee safety and delivery of high quality products/services.
- Participate in all Audits and ensure completeness of actions / findings - if any - on time.
- Encourage the team for active participation in Q-Safe programs, and ensure compliance in all monthly safety and communication meetings.
Reporting
- Provide equipment maintenance histories to Maintenance, Technical, and Production.
- Conduct monthly Work Order data analysis and generates performance reports.
- Prepare monthly cost analysis and accrual reports for Finance
- Review maintenance contract spend patterns and expiry dates. Reports status to DSR's on a monthly basis.
- Ensure that all relative reports are prepared timely and accurately, and meet the Department's requirements, policies and standards.
- Provide all data & cost reports needed for the OPE department
Qatarization
- Contribute to the development of Qatari employees. This accountability is applicable to expatriate employees only.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education
Required (Qualification1 / Discipline): Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, Commerce, or similar discipline
Preferred (Qualification1 / Discipline): Master's Degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, Commerce, or similar discipline.
Experience
Required (Years2 / Job Level3 / Industry): 5-7 years of experience in the O&G Industry.
Preferred (Years2 / Job Level3 / Industry): Plant Maintenance experience.
Other Job Specific Requirements and/or Vocational Accreditations
- Advance knowledge in SAP PM Module.
- Advance knowledge in Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of SAP Materials Management and Finance Module.
- Ability to provide SAP training to end users.
- Ability to make SAP configuration and customization
- Advanced proficiency in communication skills
- Member of the SAP Best Practice Team
- Represent maintenance in Solomon and Townsend benchmarking studies.
- Represent Maintenance for any SAP upgrade
