Qatara HRM Egypt is seeking for a skilled SAP Basis Consultant to manage, support, and optimize SAP system landscapes (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, BW). The role focuses on ensuring system availability, performance, security, and smooth technical operations across environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, etc.)
- Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Manage SAP transports and change requests
- Handle SAP system upgrades, patches, and migrations
- Administer user roles, authorizations, and security settings
- Monitor system health (CPU, memory, database performance)
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning
- Ensure high availability and system reliability
- Work with database administrators (Oracle, HANA, SQL Server, etc.)
- Support SAP implementation and rollout projects
- Maintain system documentation and SOPs
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration
- Strong experience in SAP system installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Experience in SAP system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA environments
- Experience with operating systems such as Linux/Unix and Windows Server
- Understanding of database systems like SAP HANA, Oracle, or SQL Server
- Experience in SAP transport management (TMS), upgrades, and patching
- Good understanding of backup, recovery, and system security concepts
- SAP certification (preferred but not mandatory)
