Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading investment group in the UAE. Our client is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to lead SAP Finance and Controlling implementations, system enhancements, and support initiatives. The role will be responsible for delivering scalable SAP FICO solutions, collaborating with business stakeholders, optimizing financial processes, and ensuring seamless integration across enterprise SAP environments.
Key Responsibilities
SAP FICO Implementation & Solution Delivery
- Lead SAP FICO implementation, upgrade, enhancement, and support projects.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Configure SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP),
- Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), and Profit Center Accounting (PCA).
- Perform gap analysis and design functional solutions to address business requirements.
Business Process & System Integration
- Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and external partners to deliver business solutions.
- Integrate SAP FICO with other SAP modules including MM, SD, PP, CAR, and related applications.
- Support financial process optimization and continuous system improvements.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and SAP capabilities.
Testing, Deployment & Support
- Conduct functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and support system deployments.
- Assist with data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure SAP configurations comply with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain functional documentation, configuration documents, and process guidelines.
- Support audit activities and financial reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4-8 years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
- Experience delivering at least one full-cycle SAP implementation project.
- Strong experience configuring SAP FICO modules, including GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA, and PCA.
- Strong understanding of finance, accounting principles, and business processes.
- SAP FICO or SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is preferred.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
Required Skillset
- Expertise in SAP FICO configuration, implementation, and production support.
- Strong knowledge of SAP integration with MM, SD, PP, CAR, and other SAP modules.
- Experience with financial reporting and integration with BI/reporting platforms.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with system testing, data migration, and user acceptance testing.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work closely with business users and cross-functional technical teams.
