SAP FICO Techno-Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Techno-Functional Consultant to join a large-scale enterprise transformation programme. The role acts as the bridge between finance and technical teams, delivering end-to-end SAP Finance solutions across design, configuration, integration, and optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead configuration and support of SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, CO-PA).
- Translate finance requirements into scalable SAP solutions and support financial close processes.
- Act as the interface between Finance teams and SAP technical developers.
- Support integrations across SAP and external systems (HR, procurement, banking, reporting).
- Work with ABAP teams on enhancements, interfaces, and custom developments.
- Support testing, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live stabilisation.
- Identify process improvements and support finance transformation initiatives.
- Provide guidance and training to business users.
Experience Required
- 7–12+ years SAP experience with strong SAP FICO focus.
- Proven techno-functional experience (functional + technical support).
- SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA Finance experience.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting, controlling, and reporting.
- Experience working with ABAP teams and SAP integrations.
- Full lifecycle SAP implementation or transformation experience.
- SAP S/4HANA Finance exposure.
- Large enterprise or multi-country environment experience.
- SAP Fiori knowledge.
- Experience in finance automation or digital transformation.
- Exposure to treasury, tax, or banking integrations.
