Job Description
Accenture is seeking a hands-onSAP FM Specialistto drive the design, configuration, and delivery ofFunds Management (FM)processes as part of a major SAP transformation program. This role focuses on managingfund allocations,commitment management,budget control, andreporting, ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations. The SAP FM Specialist will collaborate closely with Finance teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver accurate, efficient, and audit-compliant solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end configuration and implementation ofSAP FM functionalities, includingFunds Allocation,Commitment Management,Budget Availability Control, andReporting.
Collaborate with Finance and Controlling teams to analyze fund management requirements, optimize budget controls, and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
Support testing activities by developing test scripts, executingunit testing,integration testing, anduser acceptance testing (UAT), and validating FM processes against business scenarios.
Assist indata migration, reconciliation, and cutover activities for fund master data, commitment items, and budget postings.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve functional issues, defects, or gaps in FM processes, escalating critical issues to leadership when necessary.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of FM configurations, workflows, process maps, and reconciliation reports.
Provide subject matter expertise onSAP FM best practices, process optimization, and regulatory compliance.
Actively participate in workshops, governance meetings, and progress reviews to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Required Qualifications:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with hands-on experience inSAP Funds Management (FM)and integration withFI/CO modules.
Proven experience in implementing and optimizingFunds Managementprocesses in SAP environments.
Practical knowledge offund allocations,commitment management,budget controls, andreporting workflows.
Familiarity withdata migration, reconciliation, and cutover activities for fund-related data.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve functional issues effectively.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with Finance teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., SAP certifications) preferred.
