SAP FICO Strategy Consultant
Provide expert advisory support on SAP Finance & Controlling initiatives, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA transformations in light of ECC end-of-life. You will work closely with clients to design, implement and optimise end-to-end finance solutions that support business strategy and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Support clients across SAP FICOled S/4HANA transformation and implementation projects
- Manage the full delivery lifecycle: requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, implementation, testing, change management and rollout
- Design and define SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) solutions, including General Ledger, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling and Financial Reporting
- Advise on S/4HANA Finance innovations (Universal Journal, New GL, Central Finance, embedded analytics)
- Introduce SAP best practices to streamline finance processes, reduce customisation, and lower maintenance costs
- Provide functional leadership across implementation, conversion and migration projects
- Lead and facilitate business process workshops with finance stakeholders and senior business users
- Support requirements management within enterprise-wide SAP programmes
Experience:
- Strong understanding of end to end finance and controlling processes in SAP S/4HANA
- 2 years + experience working on SAP FICO or SAP S/4HANA Finance projects
- Come from a company such as Accenture, Deloitte, IBM, PWC, KPMG, Capgemini, BCG, EY or any IT boutique consulting firm.
- Solid methodological background in SAP delivery frameworks
- Exposure to industry-specific SAP solutions, add-ons and reporting/analytics tools
- Knowledge of SAP integration points with MM, SD and other core modules
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
- Strong client-facing mindset with a focus on delivery and outcomes
