We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to design, configure, and support end-to-end financial accounting and controlling processes within SAP environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP FI and CO modules, with hands-on experience in implementation, support, and S/4HANA migration projects. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, efficient controlling structures, and seamless integration with other SAP modules to support enterprise-wide financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and support SAP FI modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting (AA)
- Design and maintain SAP CO components including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, and Product Costing
- Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation projects, rollouts, upgrades, and S/4HANA migration initiatives
- Support financial closing activities including period-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies
- Integrate SAP FICO with other modules such as MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), and PP (Production Planning)
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
- Perform system configuration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and production support
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to financial accounting and controlling processes
- Optimize financial processes and recommend best practices for efficiency and compliance
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO implementation and support
- Strong expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly preferred
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, controlling structures, and closing processes
- Proven experience integrating SAP FICO with MM, SD, and PP modules
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business process understanding skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Certifications:
- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting Associates (e.g., C_TS4FI_2023)
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with SAP Central Finance (CFIN) or Group Reporting
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps for Finance and Controlling
- Familiarity with financial compliance standards (IFRS, GAAP)
- Experience with data migration and finance data reconciliation during S/4HANA conversion
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum project delivery methodologies
- Understanding of SAP authorization concepts and financial security controls
