Job Description

The role supports the rollout of SAP-enabled HR and Payroll processes within a large-scale transformation programme. The consultant will ensure end users understand new processes, system transactions, and role responsibilities ahead of go-live.

The trainer will deliver instructor-led training sessions and contribute to user readiness activities, enabling successful adoption of new ways of working across multiple countries.

The role requires international travel to deliver in-person training sessions and support business teams during training and handover phases.

Key Accountabilities

Training Preparation

  • Review training materials developed by functional teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and suitability for end users
  • Ensure readiness of training resources, including exercise datasets
  • Support coordination of training schedules and session preparation as required

Training Delivery

  • Deliver instructor-led training sessions for HR & Payroll end users across multiple locations
  • Facilitate scenario-based training sessions demonstrating SAP HR & Payroll processes and system transactions
  • Adapt delivery style and content to suit different audiences and roles

Post Go-Live Support

  • Deliver refresher training sessions following go-live
  • Capture feedback and contribute to continuous improvement of training materials and delivery
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate learner understanding and knowledge transfer
  • Support the transition of training ownership to internal business teams, ensuring readiness of business trainers

Training Logistics

  • Travel internationally across programme locations to deliver in-person training and user support

Experience & Skills Required

  • Proven experience delivering instructor-led SAP training in SAP Employee Central and/or Employee Central Payroll
  • Strong understanding of HR & Payroll processes within an ERP environment
  • Experience delivering role-based SAP training including system demonstrations, business scenarios, and practical exercises
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Experience supporting train-the-trainer approaches and transitioning training ownership post go-live
