Client is seeking an experienced SAP HANA Professional to support, implement, optimize, and manage SAP HANAbased solutions. The role involves working closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure high availability, performance, security, and scalability of SAP HANA systems in line with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain SAP HANA systems, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
- Perform SAP HANA administration, including system monitoring, performance tuning, backups, recovery, and troubleshooting.
- Support and optimize SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC on HANA environments.
- Manage HANA database security, user roles, authorizations, and encryption.
- Monitor system health and resolve incidents related to HANA database, memory, CPU, and disk utilization.
- Execute HANA system refreshes, copies, and migrations from legacy databases to HANA.
- Work on HANA Studio, SAP Cockpit, and SAP Solution Manager for system monitoring and administration.
- Collaborate with BASIS, functional consultants, and infrastructure teams for end-to-end solution delivery.
- Ensure compliance with internal IT policies, regulatory standards, and SAP best practices.
- Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
- Provide production support and participate in on-call rotations when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA Database Administration.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC on HANA environments.
- In-depth knowledge of:
- HANA architecture
- Backup and recovery strategies
- Performance tuning and troubleshooting
- System replication and high availability
- Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Knowledge of SAP BASIS activities related to HANA.
- Familiarity with SAP tools such as HANA Studio, SAP Cockpit, and Solution Manager.
- Understanding of data migration tools (e.g., DMO, SLT, LVM).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Good to Have:
- SAP HANA or SAP S/4HANA certification.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) hosting SAP HANA.
- Knowledge of automation and scripting (Shell, Python).
- Exposure to security and compliance frameworks.
- Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical SAP environments.
