Job Title: SAP Procurement Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Procurement Manager to lead and oversee procurement operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement processes, implementing SAP procurement solutions, and ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement practices. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP systems, procurement strategies, and supplier management to drive operational excellence and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP Procurement Implementation and Management:
Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP procurement modules (e.g., SAP MM, SAP Ariba, or SAP S/4HANA).
Ensure seamless integration of SAP procurement systems with other business processes and systems.
Monitor and maintain the performance of SAP procurement systems, ensuring data accuracy and system efficiency.
Procurement Strategy Development:
Develop and execute procurement strategies to achieve cost savings, improve supplier relationships, and enhance operational efficiency.
Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
Supplier Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns promptly.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and IT, to align procurement activities with organizational objectives.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements in all procurement activities.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement processes and supplier relationships.
Reporting and Analytics:
Develop and maintain procurement reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders.
Use data analytics to drive decision-making and improve procurement processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience as an SAP Procurement Manager or in a similar role, with expertise in SAP MM, SAP Ariba, or SAP S/4HANA.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
Certification in SAP or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is preferred.
