Job Title: SAP Project Manager
Location: Dubai
Role Summary:
The SAP Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP implementation or transformation projects (preferably S/4HANA). This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and adherence to SAP Activate or equivalent methodologies to ensure projects are delivered within scope, timeline, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead end‑to‑end SAP projects including blueprinting, realization, testing, deployment, and hypercare
- Ensure timely delivery within budget and quality standards
- Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and status reports
- Manage project governance, steering committees, sign‑offs, and documentation
- Stakeholder & Team Management
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT leadership, functional consultants, developers, and integration teams.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution design reviews
- Manage internal and external resources (partners, vendors, contractors)
- Risk, Issue & Change Management
- Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with PMO processes and best practices
SAP Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules (FI, MM, SD, PP, EWM, HR, etc.)
- Understanding of cross‑functional integration, data migration, interfaces, custom developments, and testing cycles
- Experience with SAP Activate methodology or ASAP
- Governance & Reporting
- Provide weekly project status updates to CIO/IT Director/Steering Committee
- Track KPIs, deliverables, and team performance
- Ensure proper documentation: BRD, FSD, SDD, test scripts, cutover plans, SOPs
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of SAP experience, including 4–6 years in Project/Program Management
- Minimum 2 full‑cycle SAP implementations (preferably S/4HANA)
- Strong knowledge of PM methodologies (PMP/Prince2 certification preferred)
- Excellent stakeholder communication, conflict resolution, and presentation skills
- Hands‑on experience with project tools (JIRA, MS Project, Azure DevOps, or similar)
- Proven ability to manage multi‑module, multi‑vendor SAP landscapes
- Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA certification or knowledge of RISE with SAP implementations
- Industry experience in manufacturing, construction, real estate, or logistics
- Understanding of cloud hosting, integration platforms, and Industry 4.0 technologies
- Ability to manage transformation programs involving SAP + third‑party systems
