Job description:
Job Purpose
To design, implement, and support SAP PS solutions for CAPEX projects, ensuring effective project lifecycle management, accurate cost control, seamless integration, and compliance with financial standards.
Key Accountability Areas
SAP PS Configuration & Implementation:
- Design and configure SAP PS solutions based on business requirements.
- Define and manage:
- Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
- Networks, activities, and milestones
- Maintain project profiles and settlement rules.
Project Planning & Cost Control:
- Configure CAPEX budgeting and Availability Control (AVC).
- Monitor project budgets, commitments, and actual costs.
- Support cost planning, tracking, and variance analysis.
Integration & Financial Processes:
- Integrate SAP PS with key modules:
- FI/CO (Financials & Controlling)
- MM (Procurement)
- PM (Maintenance)
- FI-AA (Asset Accounting)
- Enable Assets under Construction (AuC) and settlement to fixed assets.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls and audit requirements.
Project Lifecycle Support:
- Support end-to-end project lifecycle:
- Planning and execution
- Monitoring and reporting
- Settlement and project closeout
- Ensure accurate tracking and timely delivery of project data.
Analysis, Testing & Support:
- Conduct requirements gathering and fit-gap analysis.
- Prepare functional specifications and documentation.
- Support testing phases (Unit, Integration, UAT) and resolve defects.
- Provide post-go-live support, enhancements, and user training.
- Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge transfer.

- Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.

- Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

- Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
Quality:
- Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
Business Process Improvement:
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.
Compliance:
- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.
Health, Safety, and Environment:
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
