Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Functional Consultant to join our consulting client's team in a fully remote capacity. You will be instrumental in supporting their client's SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) processes, focusing on Contracts & Call-offs, Seasonal management, Value-Added Services, and complex B2B processes. This role requires deep expertise in SAP SD modules, especially within the context of B2B & EDI Order Processing, Consignment Processing, and Wholesale Returns management.
Key Responsibilities
- Contracts & Call-offs: Configure and manage SAP SD functionality to support Contracts and Call-offs, ensuring alignment with client requirements and best practices.
- Seasonal Management: Handle SAP SD configurations for seasonal demands, including sales campaigns and peak season optimizations, ensuring smooth and efficient processing.
- Value Added Services: Integrate value-added services within the SAP SD process to support specific client requirements, maximizing the client's operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- B2B & EDI Order Processing: Design and implement solutions to manage B2B and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) order processing, ensuring seamless information exchange between client and trading partners.
- Consignment Processing: Enable SAP SD Consignment Processing, configuring solutions that allow accurate tracking, processing, and invoicing for consigned goods.
- Wholesale Invoicing: Support the SD team in managing wholesale invoicing operations, aligning SAP processes with client-specific invoicing requirements for accuracy and compliance.
- Returns Management: Handle both Wholesale Returns and eCommerce Returns processes, ensuring client processes are optimized for high-volume returns and efficient tracking and processing.
Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ Years of Experience: Proven experience as an SAP SD Functional Consultant with a focus on B2B, Wholesale, and complex distribution models.
- SAP SD Functional Expertise: Strong expertise in SAP SD, with specific hands-on experience in Contracts & Call-offs, Seasonal configurations, Value Added Services, and Consignment Processing.
- B2B & EDI Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with B2B & EDI order processing, with the ability to configure and troubleshoot EDI integrations.
- Wholesale and Returns Management: Solid understanding and experience with wholesale invoicing and returns processes, including both wholesale and eCommerce returns workflows.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating requirements gathering, solution proposals, and user support.
- Remote Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in remote teams, with strong collaboration and self-management skills.
