SAP solution architect

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Solution Architect specializing in Planning and

Datasphere to join our Retail track. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing,

implementing, and optimizing SAP solutions that support our retail operations, with a

particular focus on planning processes and leveraging SAP Datasphere for advanced

analytics and data integration. This role requires a combination of deep technical

expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-

paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end SAP solutions for retail planning, forecasting, and inventory

management utilizing SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), SAP Datasphere, and

related modules.

• Lead the architecture and integration of SAP Datasphere for data warehousing,

advanced analytics, and real-time data processing to support retail business needs.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate

them into scalable, sustainable SAP solutions within the retail landscape.

• Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, technical documentation, and

solution roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.

• Ensure seamless integration between SAP Planning solutions, Datasphere, and

other retail systems (e.g., POS, ERP, CRM).

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring best practices

in SAP architecture, data modeling, and solution delivery.

• Support change management, user training, and adoption strategies for new SAP

functionalities in the retail domain.

• Stay abreast of SAP releases, innovations, and retail industry trends to continuously

enhance solution offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business

Administration, or related field.

• 8+ years of SAP experience, with at least 3 years as a Solution Architect in SAP

Planning (IBP/APO) and Datasphere (or SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Data Warehouse

Cloud).

• Proven experience delivering SAP solutions in the retail sector, with a solid

understanding of retail planning, merchandising, and supply chain processes.

• Strong expertise in SAP Datasphere architecture, data integration, and advanced

analytics.

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and integration tools

(e.g., SAP CPI, PI/PO).

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary project

teams.

• SAP certification(s) in relevant areas (IBP, Datasphere, S/4HANA) preferred.
