SAP Specialist (SAUDI ONLY)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor SAP systems and ensure availability of SAP landscapes.
• Perform daily health checks of SAP application servers and databases.
• Monitor background jobs, work processes, system logs, dumps, and spool requests.
• Handle user administration activities:
• User creation/deletion
• Password resets
• Role assignment coordination
• Monitor transport requests and support transport movement activities.
• Monitor and understand memory requirements of SAP system
• Monitor connections from On-prem to Cloud
• Upgrade of kernel, ST-PI, ST-A/PI, CIM, CR, SPAM, SAINT, etc
• Identify and escalate performance issues, system alerts, and failures to L2/L3 teams.
• Support SAP system startup/shutdown activities.
• Maintain documentation of incidents, issues, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, database, and application teams during incidents.
• Support routine maintenance activities and scheduled jobs.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of SAP BASIS concepts and SAP architecture.
• Knowledge of SAP systems such as ECC, S/4HANA, BW, or Solution Manager.
• Familiarity with:
• SAP GUI
• SAP MMC
• SAP HANA Studio
• SAP Cloud Connector
• SSL management
• ST22, SM21, SM37, SM50/SM66, SU01 transactions
• Understanding of transport management system (TMS).
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Windows administration.
• Basic database knowledge on HANA
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
