SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and support SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP) solutions to meet business and HR requirements.
• Lead end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and support activities for EC and ECP modules.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from HR, Payroll, Finance, and other stakeholders.
• Configure organizational structures, foundation objects, business rules, workflows, position management, and employee data management within Employee Central.
• Configure and maintain payroll schemas, rules, wage types, payroll processes, and country-specific payroll requirements within ECP.
• Ensure seamless integration between EC, ECP, SAP S/4HANA, third-party systems, and external payroll interfaces.
• Monitor and support data replication between EC and ECP, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Manage employee lifecycle processes including hiring, transfers, promotions, organizational changes, and terminations.
• Perform payroll testing, parallel payroll runs, payroll reconciliation, and validation activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, interface failures, payroll errors, and configuration defects.
• Support payroll periods, payroll processing cycles, year-end activities, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Maintain data security, role-based permissions, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develop functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for enhancements and custom developments.
• Conduct impact assessments and implement system changes in accordance with change management procedures.
• Prepare and maintain configuration documentation, process flows, user guides, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Collaborate with SAP support, implementation partners, and internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
• Support system upgrades, release management, regression testing, and adoption of new SAP SuccessFactors features.
• Provide end-user training and post-go-live support for HR and Payroll teams.
• Monitor system performance and recommend continuous improvements to HR and payroll processes.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, payroll regulations, tax requirements, and audit standards.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC).
• Strong expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
• 3+ years of SAP SF implementation and support experience.
• Knowledge of SAP HCM Payroll concepts, schemas, rules, and payroll processing.
• Experience with SAP CPI, Integration Center, and EC-ECP integrations.
• Understanding of HR business processes and payroll operations.
• Experience in testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of data migration, reporting, permissions, and security concepts.
