Job Description

We are looking for a bilingual SAP TRM Functional Consultant who can designs, implements, and supports SAP TRM (Tax & Revenue Management) solutions, focusing on public sector tax processes like registration, returns, payments, and refunds, translating tax laws into system configurations in modules like FI-CA/PSCD, and ensuring compliance while working with business users and developers across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering: Conducting workshops with the business team to identify the possible gaps in the BRDs and suggesting to them the best possible approach.
  • Creating the System Requirements Specification (SRS), performing functional configuration, and providing support to the technical team in system design and development aligned with business requirements.
  • Preparation of Blueprints & wireframe Documents and then give the walkthrough (demo) to the Business team that how the process will work in the system.
  • Solution Design & Configuration: Configure SAP TRM/PSCD for registration, obligation setup, returns processing, payment posting, and refunds.
  • Managing processes related to refunds, payments, Dunning, Interest Calculation and VAT returns.
  • Documentation: Create blueprints, functional specifications, process flows, and test scripts.
  • Integration: Design links with other SAP modules (FI, FICA) and external systems (portals, banks).
  • Testing: Lead and support unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Compiling functional specifications and assisting the team in drafting test scripts and user manuals.
  • Support & Training: Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot issues, and train end-users.
  • Project Lifecycle: Participate in all phases, from design and build to deployment and handover.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • SAP Modules: Deep expertise in SAP TRM, FI-CA (Financial Contract Accounting), PSCD (Public Sector Contract Accounting).
  • Public Sector: Strong understanding of tax administration processes (registration, returns, payments).
  • Functional Expertise: Ability to translate tax laws into SAP configurations.
  • Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with ABAP debugging and development concepts is a plus.
  • Consulting Skills: Excellent client communication, workshop facilitation, and problem-solving.

Project management Experience:

  • Implementation Lifecycle: Proven experience participating in multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations (using methodologies like ASAP or Activate).
  • Client-Facing Role: Prior experience in a consulting or client-facing delivery role is essential for managing stakeholder expectations and requirements.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Typically required in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Information Technology, Accounting, or Finance.
  • SAP Certification: While not always mandatory, certifications in SAP TRM (Tax & Revenue Management) or SAP FI-CA (Financial Contract Accounting) are highly preferred.

Experience Required:

  • 58+ years of extensive IT experience, including significant time with SAP.
