Job Title: SAS AML Technical Project Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAS AML Technical Project Manager to lead the end-to-end migration of the SAS Anti-Money Laundering (AML) platform from SAS AML 7.1 to SAS Viya 4. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, execution, governance, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and successful delivery of the migration program while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the SAS AML migration project from SAS AML 7.1 to SAS Viya 4.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate project activities across multiple workstreams, including Compliance, AML Operations, Technology, Infrastructure, Security, and external vendors.
- Act as the primary point of accountability for successful project delivery.
- Establish project governance frameworks and ensure adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure timely completion of deliverables while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate effective communication between business and technical teams.
- Coordinate with SAS implementation teams and third-party vendors throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Ensure successful testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Drive project documentation, change management, and knowledge transfer activities.
- Ensure compliance with banking, AML, and information security standards throughout the project.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in IT Project Management, with significant experience leading enterprise technology projects.
- Proven experience managing large-scale SAS platform implementation or migration projects.
- Strong understanding of SAS AML solutions, including SAS AML 7.x and SAS Viya 4 migration.
- Experience delivering projects within banking, financial services, or regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid).
- Experience with project governance, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors.
