Our client, an international bank is seeking a highly skilled Islamic Finance Structurer to join its Riyadh-based team. This strategic role focuses on developing and delivering Sharia-compliant FX and rates financing solutions for corporate and institutional clients across the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Structuring: Develop and implement Sharia-compliant FX and rates financing solutions, including hedging and liquidity management strategies.
- Client Advisory: Partner with relationship managers and sales teams to provide technical expertise and bespoke structuring advice to clients.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all structures comply with local regulations and Sharia standards, liaising with Sharia boards and legal teams as required.
- Documentation: Oversee the drafting and negotiation of Islamic finance documentation.
- Market Development: Identify opportunities to expand the Islamic finance product suite and drive innovation in FX and rates offerings.
- Risk Management: Collaborate with risk teams to assess and mitigate financial and operational risks associated with structured products.
Qualifications & Experience
- Technical Expertise: Experience in Islamic finance structuring, with a strong focus on FX and rates.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of Sharia principles and Islamic finance instruments.
- Professional Background: Experience within a global or regional bank, preferably in structuring or treasury solutions.
- Education: Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; professional certifications such as CFA, ACI, or Islamic Finance Qualification (IFQ) are highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Languages: Fluency in English required; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
