We are currently hiring a PMC
Scaffolding Engineer for an onshore oil & gas project in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate should have
minimum 10 years of experience in scaffolding engineering and site execution within major oil & gas EPC / PMC projects, with ADNOC project experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and review scaffolding layouts and erection drawings
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, HSE requirements, and project specifications
- Supervise scaffold erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling activities
- Review load calculations and structural adequacy checks
- Coordinate with construction, civil, mechanical, and HSE teams
- Conduct regular site inspections and issue scaffold compliance reports
- Ensure all scaffolding activities comply with approved method statements and risk assessments
- Support shutdown, maintenance, and brownfield construction activities
- Review contractor and subcontractor scaffold submissions
- Resolve site-related scaffolding issues and clashes
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of relevant scaffolding engineering experience
- ADNOC project experience
- Strong experience in oil & gas onshore construction projects
- Experience in brownfield / shutdown projects preferred
- Familiarity with ADNOC work permit and HSE systems
- Knowledge of scaffold design calculations and load assessment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Knowledge of STAAD / structural checks preferred
- Valid CISRS / equivalent scaffolding certification preferred
