Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Scaffolding & Formwork Design Engineer, based in New Cairo. The responsibilities of the position include designing scaffolding and formwork systems to meet project-specific requirements, conducting structural calculations, and preparing detailed drawings and technical documentation. The engineer will also collaborate with the project team to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency. Regular inspections, technical analysis, and providing support during on-site construction activities will also be key responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience working with Scaffolding and Fall Protection systems
- Familiarity with Working at Height and awareness of safety standards within Confined Spaces
- Possession of CSCS certification or equivalent qualifications
- Strong understanding of structural principles, engineering calculations, and construction processes
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate with diverse project teams
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Previous experience in scaffolding and formwork design is preferred
