Job Summary

The Scheduling Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely execution and completion of projects. The role supports project management teams by tracking progress, identifying delays, analyzing critical paths, and providing schedule forecasts to ensure alignment with project objectives and contractual milestones.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project schedules using approved planning tools
  • Prepare baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and resource-loaded plans
  • Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly
  • Identify critical path activities and potential delays
  • Conduct schedule risk analysis and recommend corrective actions
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and construction teams
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
  • Track productivity, resource allocation, and milestone achievements
  • Support extension of time (EOT) claims and delay analysis where required
  • Ensure compliance with contract specifications and project timelines

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • 310 years of experience in project scheduling and planning
  • Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 / MS Project
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle (Engineering, Procurement, Construction)
  • Experience in resource loading, cost control coordination, and progress measurement
  • Good knowledge of contractual scheduling requirements
