Cambridge English School in
Kuwait is seeking a
qualified and experienced Science Teacher to join its secondary team from
August 2026.
This role is ideal for a committed educator with strong experience delivering the
British curriculum, including
GCSE and A-Level Science, who is looking to develop their career in a well-resourced international setting.
The Role
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities at GCSE and A-Level
- Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with British curriculum standards
- Prepare students effectively for external examinations
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress with clarity and accuracy
- Contribute to curriculum planning, enrichment activities, and whole-school initiatives
- Work collaboratively within a professional and supportive department
The Ideal Candidate
Applicants must:
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd, or equivalent)
- Hold a degree aligned with Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related field)
- Have proven experience teaching GCSE Science (A-Level experience is essential)
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice
- Be organised, adaptable, and committed to continuous professional development
- International teaching experience is advantageous but not essential
